Describe the problem first
Do not start with “we need an agent.” Describe who does the work, how long it takes, which information is hard to find and where mistakes occur. This gives you a basis for deciding whether AI is a good fit.
Choose a task you can test on a small scale
Prioritize frequent tasks with available inputs and outputs that are easy to check, such as finding answers in product manuals or drafting content from approved material. Limit the people, data and features involved in the first phase.
Agree on evaluation before the pilot
Record the existing process and time spent. Prepare normal, exceptional and missing-information examples. Business owners should check whether the results are useful, not just whether the demo runs smoothly.
Involve your team
Assign owners for information maintenance, user feedback and exception handling. Run training alongside development so the team can keep using and improving the application after handover.
